Case Study

Management Training& Development
In this case, Keith came in when the business had a turnover of £1.5m, but only a net profit of £5k, and was experiencing cash flow difficulties, and again, could not understand why.
12 months later they had not only increased turnover by £1m but seen net profits increase to £650k and rising.
Keith took the business back to basics looking at pricing for contracts, the ability to add additional value and cross selling the benefits.
This brought not only customer satisfaction but also additional work as a result.
He looked at all the costs of the business and the model of using consultants / associates on a job by job basis rather than permanently employing people.
The funding costs were reduced and Keith wrote a business plan to take the business forward, getting buy-in from the management team.
The business moved from a cash negative position to being cash positive.
