CADIS Reporting Ltd
This month Millionaire Mentor Darrell Smith presents C8 Software Ltd (now CADIS Reporting Ltd).
Background to C8 Software
C8 was formed by Rob Gray and Richard Babington and their principal product is an innovative financial services reporting programme.
Darrell took a small equity stake in the business, in part payment for his services as Commercial Director, and introduced the principal private equity funder, NED and sales and marketing director to the business.
He also produced pricing models, commercial terms, financial plans and effected introductions to a number of potential clients.
Darrell was also responsible for introducing C8 to CADIS, an electronic data management company with a significant reputation in the financial services market (see www.cadisedm.com).
From a standing start in June 08, the firm grew so quickly that by June 09 CADIS offered to merge C8 into a 50:50 JV. This gave C8 access to a significant client base which is now being exploited.
The original business plan was to grow the business to £5million valuation in 3 years. C8 management nowconfidently expect to more than double this in the same timescale.
C8’s principal shareholder Rob Gray now has an estimated net worth in excess of £1million, and this is planned to grow even more.
